Team Information

  1. TEAM MOTTO: "Leave it all on the Court"

    • Come prepared to give it your all.

    • Be supportive of teammates.

    • We hope to be competitive, not win at all costs! The goal is to have fun with a great group of women who add value to our lives.

    • When the match is over, leave it all on the court. Celebrate our successes and learn from our challenges. In the end we just want to have fun.  None of us are going to put "Winner of 3.0 Paddle War division" on our Epitaph!

  2. GAME DAY:  Tuesdays, time TBD

    • Matches will last roughly 2 hours. Plan accordingly.

    • Home matches start at 1 PM. Away could be as early as 11 AM.

    • If you can't make a match, no problem.  Please let us know as soon as possible for planning.

    • If you are listed as available, plan to play unless we reach out to you in advance.

    • We will try to post lineup for the following week's match by Tuesday evenings.

    • Lineups are fluid, partners can change before rounds for many reasons. (Injury, player decision , or ?)

    • If you come to game and are not scheduled to play, wear uniform. We may need you.

  3. PRACTICE:

    • Wednesdays  4 - 5:30 PM.

    • We are planning on 15- 20 mins drills then rally play with scheduled partners.

    • If you can't make practice, no problem, please try to arrange practice with your partner(s) before the next weeks match if needed.

  4. PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY:

    • Update all availability for practice and matches on TeamReach app at least 2 week before.

    • If you change your availability lease then two weeks out contact captain!

    • If you are listed on Court Reserve as practicing and cannot attend practice, contact captain AND find a replacement!  We need 4 on a court to practice.

    • Be flexible.  If you have other commitments on Tuesdays please be clear. The more available you are the more flexible we can be as a team.

  5. PLAYING TIME:

    • The goal is to have each player play a minimum of 2 set per match.

    • The math:

      • 2 players a game X 9 sets = 18 total players per match

      • 18 players / 2 sets each = 9 player a match

      • Some players may choose to play only 1 set. No problem, more playing time for the rest of team.

      • If we have more than 9 players playing at a match, some players may play only one set.

      • We will try to schedule players playing one set play in the first or second round to avoid sitting around too much.

  6. EXPECTATIONS:

    • If you are dissatisfied with anything or would like to make a suggestion please communicate. If you come with a solution to the challenge in mind, even better. We can't address it if you don't tell us.
